The New Car Mazda6 Facelift to Rule the Roads

The 2011 Mazda6 Facelift is launched, along with latest head and rear lamps, for more sportiness and a clearer quality identity. The New BMW 5-Series Comes With the High Technology

The latest BMW 5-Series Sedan will be offered with one V-8 and one inline-6 gasoline engine. The top-of-the-range BMW 550i arrives with BMW’s “reverse-flow” V-8 engine featuring twin turbochargers and High Precision direct injection for maximum output of 400 hp. The new inline-6 of the BMW 535i features a single twin-scroll turbocharger, High Precision direct injection, and, for the first time, VALVETRONIC throttle-less ingestion technology. It gives a highest output of 300 hp and 300 lb-ft. The 535i and 550i will be available with an option of 6-speed manual transmission, BMW’s new 8-speed automatic transmission, or new “Sport Automatic” 8-speed. Later, the BMW 528i will debut with a 240 hp inline-6 featuring lightweight magnesium-aluminum construction and VALVETRONIC throttle-less intake technology for effectiveness and unparalleled responsiveness.





Gloomy Burl Ash wood trim interior trim is standard, appearing in sweeping expanses on the dash, doors and front center comfort; Ash Anthracite and another distinctive wood called Fineline Matte are elective.

The new 2011 BMW 5-Series will be offered in the United States with a choice of three gasoline engines. At its opening, the new 5-Series will be available as a 535i and 550i. The 528i and xDrive all-wheel drive variants of all three models will be introduced later in the year.

2008 Corvette 427 Special Version Z06 to Be Auctioned For Haitian Earthquake Relief

General Motors will sell a limited edition 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 to benefit recovery hard work in Haiti. The car, part of the 427 special editions, will be sold at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction this weekend.

A 7.0-magnitude earthquake began just before 5 p.m. on 12 January with an epicenter roughly 15 miles southwest of the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince. As many as 200,000 people were killed in the disaster, which destroyed much of the areas buildings and infrastructure. At least 33 aftershocks, measuring up to magnitude 6.1, have been felt since.

Each of the 427 units in the edition features a 7.0-liter V8 engine producing 505 horsepower. Units were painted in Crystal Red Metallic with a "Stinger-style stripe," and travel on chrome Z06 wheels. Interior touches include Dark Titanium leather features, and Crystal Red trim. A healthy amount of 427 badging is placed all over the vehicle, counting the autograph of now-retired Corvette plant manager Will Cooksey. Cooksey also individually numbered each unit.

The 2008 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Special Edition Z06 will hit the auction block Saturday night. The 39th Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction began earlier this week in Scottsdale, Arizona, and concludes on Sunday. GM did not state which charity would receive the donation from the car's sale.

Cadillac reveals the Cadillac XTS Platinum model at the 2010 North American International Auto Show. The Cadillac XTS Platinum model is powered by a plug-in fusion system with 3.6L Direct Injection gas engine and a lithium-ion battery pack; the system supplies an estimated 350 horsepower (260 kW) and 295 lb.-ft. of torque (400 Nm).







The Cadillac XTS Platinum model interior features a leather seating, with a laser fixed pattern. The attractive material adorns the center sections of the seating and accents the door trim. Considerately detailed stitching is used throughout the interior, including the seats, instrument panel and door panels. Passengers in the spacious rear partition of the Cadillac XTS Platinum model also have access to the car’s connectivity feature, along with a variety of infotainment choices.

Like the interior, the exterior rudiments are exactly customized and stylishly detailed. Brushed billet aluminum trim is used selectively and the 20-inch, 11-spoke wheels feature a brushed aluminum face accented with bright inserts within the spokes.
